Innovating products and protoypes in a close on-site collaboration

       Excellent background reporting, intelligent analysis and articles with a clear point of view – these were the Neue Zürcher Zeitung’s key values. Facing changing reader needs, the growing importance of online news coverage channels and a new in-house digital strategy made it inevitable for the renowned Swiss newspaper to redesign its online eco-system
       In close cooperation with project managers, editorial staff and art directors from the NZZ the sensitive digital design system was reworked through several phases of implementation. 
        Beginning as a redesign-project, the development of new editorial online-strategies, internal product innovation projects as well as the quality assurance and coaching of staff members according to the new paradigms in design and site-architecture, became part of the service in a one year collaboration on site.
